Five questions every client should ask a web agency.

Most operators who call us have already paid someone else for twelve months of meetings and nothing live. So we've written down the answers to the five hardest questions before you have to ask them. If another agency won't answer these the same way, that tells you something.

Answer 01Month one

What exactly will you do in month one?

Month one is diagnosis, foundation and a working build. You get a written plan by day 7 and you see progress on your project by day 21 — not a 'strategy phase' where nothing visible happens.

Week 1

Audit and baseline

Technical review, sitemap, wireframes, existing data migration plan, and access setup. Current gaps recorded so month three isn't a debate.

Week 2

Scope and priority map

Every feature tied to a business outcome and a page. Gap analysis against the sites or apps actually winning in your market today.

Week 3

Build starts

Core pages, database schema, auth and booking flows are coded. This is where your product starts changing.

Week 4

First demo and report

A working preview link and a baseline report showing exactly where we started and what moved.

If any week slips, you'll hear it from us before you notice it. We'd rather tell you a milestone is late than pad a status update.

Answer 02Feature priority

Which features do you build first, and why those?

Three criteria, applied in this order. It's a ranked list, not a wishlist.

  1. 01

    Features closest to revenue

The shortest distance to real bookings or billable hours. A working enquiry form pays faster than a polished blog.

  2. 02

Features tied to your highest-margin service

Traffic and tools that don't convert are vanity metrics. We build the work that funds the work.

  3. 03

Features where a competitor beats you on something fixable

Missing booking flow, weak mobile UX and slow load times are winnable. Decades of brand trust are not — so we don't spend your budget fighting it head-on.

You'll see the exact feature list, with current state and estimated impact, before we write a line of code. If you disagree with the order, we change it. You know your margins better than we do.

Answer 03The data

Can I see the real progress data, not just a pretty slide?

Yes — and you should insist on it from anyone you hire. You get the working project board and preview links, not a screenshot of them.

You also get direct access to your own repository, staging preview and analytics. Not a dashboard we control — the actual accounts, in your name. If our reporting ever disagrees with the live preview, believe the preview.

Answer 04If you cancel

If I pause or cancel next month, do I keep what you built?

Yes. Everything lives in your accounts, your domain and your repository. Nothing collapses overnight, and any agency telling you otherwise is selling fear.

What you keep permanently

Code, designs, database schema, content and access credentials stay in your ownership whether you work with us or not. We don't build on rented land.

What you lose

Momentum. Markets keep moving, competitors keep publishing, and products age gradually — typically holding three to six months before drift becomes visible.

We can't hold your project hostage, and we wouldn't want a client who's only staying because they're afraid to leave.

Answer 05The team

Who is actually doing the work?

Both of us — and here's the honest split, because you'll find out anyway.

Handled by your lead directly

  • Strategy and priority calls
  • Scope and revenue mapping
  • Competitor analysis
  • Weekly updates and the call that goes with it

Handled by our production team

  • UI/UX design and page builds
  • Frontend and backend development
  • Testing, schema and on-page work
  • Reviewed before anything reaches your site

Our production team works from our Kathmandu and Lalitpur offices and is trained specifically on service-business projects — transport, hospitality, clinics, trades and rentals. You get one named point of contact and a direct email line. You will never be handed to a stranger mid-project, or discover your code was written by someone who has never seen a booking workflow.

The part most agencies leave out

What we will not promise you.

Anyone who guarantees a number is either guessing or planning to do something that gets your domain penalised. Here's where our honesty sits.

No guaranteed #1 rankings

Nobody controls Google's index. We commit to the work and the method, not to a position we can't hold.

No invented timelines

We forecast from your scope and our current workload, and we tell you when a target looks unrealistic.

No hidden costs

Fixed quotes in NPR. If scope changes, we agree the price before the work starts.

No lock-in through obscurity

You own the accounts, the code and the site. Leaving should be easy. Staying should be the obvious choice.
