How does eSewa integration work on my store?

When a customer chooses eSewa they are redirected to the eSewa login, approve the amount, and return to your site with a signed verification response. Our server re-verifies that response against eSewa before the order is marked paid, which prevents spoofed confirmations. Settlement lands in your linked bank account on eSewa's normal cycle, and every transaction is recorded in your admin dashboard with the eSewa reference code so reconciliation takes minutes rather than an afternoon of screenshot matching.

Can I take Khalti payments too?

Khalti's checkout is integrated the same way — the customer pays inside the Khalti widget or app, and our server confirms the payment with Khalti's verification endpoint before releasing the order. Fonepay QR is included for customers who prefer to scan with their own mobile banking app, and ConnectIPS suits larger-ticket or B2B orders paid directly from a bank account. If you sell abroad — handicrafts, pashmina, digital products — we add Stripe or PayPal so foreign buyers can pay by card in USD while Nepali customers keep eSewa and Khalti. All gateways feed into one order pipeline, so your staff never have to check four different dashboards to find out whether an order was paid.

Can I still offer cash on delivery?

Yes, but with controls. Unrestricted COD is the biggest source of loss for Nepali online stores because of return-to-origin. We limit COD by delivery area, order value and phone verification — for example COD allowed inside the Kathmandu Valley up to NPR 15,000 with a confirmed OTP, prepayment required elsewhere. You can change those rules yourself in the admin panel. Clients who move from open COD to verified COD typically cut failed deliveries by more than half within a couple of months.
