The problem
All orders arrived as Instagram or Viber messages. Staff manually confirmed stock, quoted delivery charges from memory, sent a Khalti QR screenshot, then chased payment proof. Roughly one in five conversations was abandoned before payment, inventory was tracked in a notebook that never matched the shelf, and the business had no idea which products actually sold best. There was no searchable catalogue, no product photography standard, and no way for a customer to buy at 11pm — which is precisely when most browsing happened. Cash on delivery was offered informally and produced a 14% return-to-origin rate.
What we built
We built a full store with category and product pages, live stock levels, variant handling and search. Checkout integrates eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay QR and ConnectIPS alongside a controlled cash-on-delivery option limited to verified phone numbers inside the Valley. Delivery charges calculate automatically by area. An admin dashboard handles inventory, orders, dispatch statuses and daily sales reporting, and abandoned-cart reminders go out over Viber and email. Product pages carry Nepali and English descriptions with structured data, so listings appear with prices and availability directly in Google results.
“We were running a shop out of a DM inbox. Now orders come in overnight and we just pack them in the morning.”
