Trekking agency: 2.7× enquiry volume before peak season

A Pokhara trekking agency relied on walk-ins from Lakeside. Structured itinerary pages with USD deposits shifted the business to pre-arrival bookings from Europe and Australia.

The problem

The agency's site listed treks as a single long page of text with no day-by-day breakdown, no pricing and no way to reserve a place. Almost all business came from travellers already walking down Lakeside Road, which meant the agency competed on shopfront position rather than reputation and had no revenue visibility ahead of the season. Foreign travellers researching from abroad could not find permit, TIMS, group-size or cancellation information, and emailed the same five questions repeatedly. The site loaded in over six seconds from Europe because all images were uncompressed and hosted locally.

What we built

We built individual itinerary pages for each trek with day-by-day schedules, altitude profiles, inclusions and exclusions, difficulty grading, and dual USD/NPR pricing. A deposit booking flow takes international cards through Stripe and eSewa or Khalti for Nepali clients, with WhatsApp confirmation because that is what travellers actually use. Permit, TIMS, insurance and cancellation policies each got structured FAQ sections with schema. The site moved to a global edge CDN with modern image formats, and seasonal landing pages target autumn and spring search peaks.

Groups now book from Germany and Australia weeks before they land. We are not waiting for someone to walk past the door.
